I love fresh flowers. Something about having that little piece of outside displayed inside makes me feel more connected with nature. They make the setting feel fresh and cared for.
I share this simply because a vase of fresh flowers is one of my favorite things. I've come to adore peonies. They are difficult to find, and don't last as long as other flowers, but look so full and sassy when displayed. Spider mums give the same full effect but with a funky feel. Ever feel like doing a little something special to liven up your home setting... bring in the flowers. AHHHHHH
